The photo of the retailer's alleged marketing materials, sent to Kotaku, note the aforementioned launched date, as well as details on an upcoming beta for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners who pre-order Treyarch's upcoming shooter.
It's important to note, however, that upon closer inspection, there's a line of fine print, which reads: "Actual platform availability and launch date(s) to be determined."
Another strange detail is that Nov. 6 falls on a Friday, whereas games almost always launch on Tuesdays. There's also no mention of last-gen versions on the flyer.
Kotaku's source of the leak claims the pre-order promotional material will be handed out to consumers this coming Sunday, April 26, when Activision is holding its Black Ops 3 "world reveal." Since the publisher has yet say anything official about the game's release date or alleged beta, we'll have to treat this all as mere rumor for the time being.
We reached out to Activision for comment.
In the meantime, be sure to check out the game's live-action teaser trailer, which dropped earlier this week.
