Pick Up Free-To-Play 'Mortal Kombat X' Mobile Game

This morning, NeverRealm Studios have released Mortal Kombat X for iOS, hitting Android devices in the near future. The free-to-play game is a mesh of card collection and fighting gameplay and, as an additional bonus, there is a connective layer between the mobile and PC/console versions.
In a statement, Warner Bros said:
This ecosystem among platforms will introduce team-based Faction Wars for the first time ever, and empower players to unlock special content between the mobile game and console or PC versions by completing tasks and achievements within each version. Every connected Mortal Kombat X player can participate regardless of platform device.

According to sources, unlockables will include over-the-top fatalities and 'upgradable gear'. The game boasts a roster of 24 Kombatants including classic characters Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Kano as well as new additions such as Kohtal Kahn and D'vorah.
You'll be able to pick up a copy of Mortal Kombat X for iOS right now, PC and console versions will be coming out in just a few more days on April 14.
